A Rubber Washer is indefeasibly a thin disc with a hole in the medium. This is designed to be use for supporting the heaviness of a threaded fastener, as a wear pad, spring, spacer, pre-load indicating tool and a locking instrument. Washers are generally manufactured from varied materials like Plastic, Rubber, and metal out of which RUBBER is the most general material.
This type of washer is generally utilized in valves or taps that can perform as a seal to close or prevent the flow of gas and liquid. These are utilized in taps so as to prevent the flow of water and are also referred to as washers only as they look quite similar. However, washers and gaskets are produced differently and designed for varied functions.
